Want a biking adventure, a trip to a Tra Que Organic Vegetable Village and a cooking class all in one? Join Karma Waters on this 3/4 day biking and cooking adventure where we bike to the Tra Que Organic Vegetable Village, meet the growers, we teach you about the local organic growing techniques and then we select our vegetables for the cooking class. After selecting our fresh vegetables, we bike back to Karma Waters where our chefs teach you how to prepare and cook three Vietnamese vegan dishes and then we all enjoy our lunches together!
Itinerary
Tour starts at Karma Waters Hoi An latest 8 am
Bicycle across rice paddy fields 3 km to Tra Que village to visit this 200 year old organic vegetable village
Organic farm visit includes learning to plant & tender different vegetables
Pick vegetables used in preparing the vegan cooking class dishes at Karma Waters
Return to Karma Waters by 11:30 am to start the cooking class from 11:30 to 1:30pm
Learn three delicious, vegan dishes & cooking methods which are taught by our own Karma Waters' chefs
Cooking class ends at 1:30 pm and that's when we eat the lunch that you helped prepare and cook
Tour ends around 3pm
Note: Itinerary can be shortened on the day if Guests wishes

Ride Conditions and What You Need
The bike riding is suitable for all ages of healthy and active people and this tour has comfortable cycling along paddy field paths and a small section of road.
You should bring a towel, floppy hat, sun block, anorak and other protection against the elements.
Things to See & Do
At this 200 year old organic vegetable village, you will see a wide variety of organic vegetables growing as well as flowers and other produce. Also you can see some fish ponds that grow organic fertilizer for the organic vegetables grown in Tra Que.
The fields between Karma Waters and Tra Que are part of UNESCO Biosphere Reserve Cu Lao Cham - Hoi An. Migrating birds are often also seen in this area.
